There’s more recording to be done and then mixing so I’m looking forward to that coming up in the next few weeks!!!

Also I’m on the road a lot at the moment touring with the legendry ”Kenny Ball’ and his Jazzmen! It’s great fun and yes they are still going!!!!!!

On the teaching front, we are coming to the time when the students need to hand in there coursework. Over the last few months the students have really improved, they are getting a great sound, quicker when music programming and now flying around in Logic. I really hope they get the grades they need!

As we enter a new year it is a perfect time to reflect and re-evaluate what is important to us and what we would like to achieve in the coming year. If we don’t have goals what are we aiming for, where are we headed?

Goals need not be over ambitious or complex, in fact when setting goals you are best advised to keep it simple and more importantly achievable, there is no sense of achievement out of setting unattainable goals – you are essentially setting yourself up for failure … where is the inspiration and motivation in that?
